Ice Fishing on Grand Lake

Ice Fishing on Grand Lake

Drop a Line

Even when the lakes begin to freeze, fishing season isn’t over. Imagine the serenity of fishing during regular fishing seasons, but amidst the snow and ice during a beautiful Colorado winter. The lakes of Granby and Grand Lake are home to some of the largest lake trout in the Rocky Mountain West, and, luckily, the trout don’t hibernate, so you can keep fishing all year long!

This winter, get hooked on some of the annual Granby and Grand Lake ice fishing contests, and learn more about some of the best places to auger down and reel them in!
