Lakeside Motel

All 16 motel rooms face Grand Lake with awesome views of the lake surrounded by mountain vistas! We offer 5 different room types at our lakeside motel: Queen, King, Queen/Double, Two-Bedroom Suites and a One-Bedroom Apartment.

The queen rooms sleep up to 2 and include a small coffee pot in the room. The king rooms sleep up to 2 and include a small coffee pot, small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Queen/Double Room Numbers 4, 5, 27 & 28 sleep up to 4 and include a queen and a double bed, a small coffee pot, small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Queen/Double Room Numbers 6 (Hotel Impossible Room), 25 & 26 sleep up to 4 and include a queen and a double bed and a small coffee pot in the room. The two-bedroom suites sleep up to 6 and include a queen bed, sofa bed, small coffee pot, small refrigerator and microwave in the front bedroom, a queen bed in the back bedroom, and a bathroom that can be accessed from each room. The one-bedroom apartment sleeps up to 4 and includes a full kitchen, living (day bed that makes into 2 twin beds) and dining area, and a bedroom with a king bed and bathroom (inside the bedroom) with a walk-in shower.

Queen

One queen bed, full bath, TV and phone. This is a smaller room which accommodates 1-2 people.

King

One king bed, full bath, TV, phone, small refrigerator and microwave. This room is large enough to accommodate a crib for a small child and accommodates 1-2 adults.

Queen/Double

One queen bed and one double bed, full bath, TV and phone. This room accommodates 2-4 people.

Suite

Two rooms plus a full bath. In the front bedroom there is a queen bed, a foldout couch, TV, phone, a small refrigerator and microwave. In the second bedroom there is a queen bed and a TV. The bathroom can be accessed from either room with the sink area separate from the tub/toilet. Accommodates 2-6 people.

Apartment

Our Apartment includes an open room with kitchen, living and dining areas all facing the lake, a day bed that makes into two twin beds, TV and phone. The bedroom has a king bed, TV and phone. The bathroom is located within the bedroom with a large walk-in shower. This room accommodates 1-4 people, however, it does adjoin with Room 22 which has a king bed which will expand the accommodations to 6.

Terms & Conditons

We all hate fine print but we do need to make sure you are aware of our terms and conditions, so that your stay is as pleasurable as possible. You can view the different sections by clicking the tabs above, or clicking “Next” on your mobile device.

DEPOSIT: a. For Single Family Reservations (reserving less than 4 rooms/cabins, and are not part of a group reservation attending a reunion, wedding, etc.): A deposit of one night’s lodging for each room reserved is due when the reservation is made. Please note that the deposit is higher for condos and homes, and can be found listed under the Terms & Conditions for the specific property, i.e. Eagles’ Spirit, Tree House, Lake House. The balance is due upon arrival. b. For Group Reservations (reserving 4 or more rooms/cabins) for Reunions, Wedding Parties, etc.: A deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the rental amount is due when the reservation is made. The balance is due upon arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY: a. For Single Family Reservations (reserving less than 4 rooms/cabins, and is not part of a group reservation attending a reunion, wedding, etc.): If the reservation is cancelled more than two weeks prior to arrival, you will receive a refund, less a $50.00 per room processing fee. Please note that this fee is higher for condos and homes, and can be found listed under the Terms & Conditions for the specific property, i.e. Eagles’ Spirit, Tree House, Lake House. If cancelled less than two weeks prior to arrival, deposits are non-refundable. There are no refunds for unused time due to late arrival or early departures. If guests do not arrive on the first day of their reservation and do not cancel or make alternative arrangements, the guest is responsible for paying for the entire reserved stay and the reservation is forfeited. The purpose of this policy is to encourage you to notify us if you are not coming or you will be arriving late. b. For Group Reservations (4 or more rooms/cabins reserved) for Reunions, Wedding Parties, etc.: If any part of a group reservation is cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival, you will receive a refund, less a $50.00 processing fee for each unit cancelled. Please note that this fee is higher for condos and homes, and can be found listed under the Terms & Conditions for the specific property, i.e. Eagles’ Spirit, Tree House, Lake House. If cancelled less than 60 days prior to arrival, deposits are non-refundable. There are no refunds for unused time due to late arrival or early departure. If guests do not arrive of the first day of their reservation and do not cancel or make alternative arrangements, the guest is responsible for paying for the entire reserved stay and the reservation is forfeited. The purpose of this policy is to encourage you to notify us if you are not coming or you will be arriving late.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 10:00am

TELEPHONE: There is no charge for local, toll free, or domestic long distance calls. However for international calls you would need to use a personal calling card.

NO PETS: For the safety of your pets and guests we do ask that you leave your pets at home. It’s not that we don’t love your furry loved ones, but due to allergies and wellness, we can’t allow pets on the premises. Another reason for this is the wildlife here (e.g., mountain lions and bears – Oh my!). It really is safer for your pets. So we do ask that you please leave your pets at home or make arrangements for them to stay with Mountain Mongrels during your stay. Additional information is available on their website, or by calling, 970-531-0837. There is a minimum $250 charge for stowaway pets, and you will be asked to leave with no refund.

SMOKING: For the comfort of all guests, we do not allow smoking in any of the rooms (this includes in doorways or near an open window). Smoking is only permitted outdoors on the lower deck. We ask smokers please honor Colorado State Law requiring smokers to be a minimum of 15 feet away from doors, windows, and public areas. There is a minimum $250 charge for smoking in the rooms.
